General Information

The Series 37 qualifies a representative to solicit purchases and sales of most types of securities including options. It does not qualify a representative to sell municipal securities. The Series 38 exam does not qualify a representative to sell options of municipal securities; although a representative who is already licensed to sell options in Canada may do so in the United States.

Type of Exam: 90 Multiple-choice questions

Exam Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes

Passing Grade: 70% or above

Exam Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes
