2010/2011 Refund / Cancellation / Product Return Policy

Requests for discounts/refunds will be accepted within 30 days of the date your order was processed for fulfillment. We are unable to honor discounts and issue refunds for orders processed beyond that timeframe. Discounted pricing cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts, or promotions. We reserve the right to correct any incorrect charges that might have occurred to orders.

Purchases of product packages, downloads, eBooks, electronic and online products/services, extended online access and previous year sales are final and non-refundable. Cancellation or Return of any individual component contained within a product package will require the remaining items to be charged at full retail value plus a $20 administrative fee. All associated shipment costs, including duties, customs and/or brokerage fees, are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the customer.

Audio, Video and CD-ROM Software may be returned provided that the product is unopened and in its original packaging and shrink-wrap. Returns will be accepted within 30 days of the date you receive your order. NO returns will be accepted less than 30 days prior to the exam, regardless of when the order was received. All returns are subject to a restocking fee of $20. Defective materials may be exchanged for the same product within 90 days of receipt of order.

Returns of paper-based materials (books or flashcards) will be accepted within 30 days of the date you receive your order. NO returns will be accepted less than 30 days prior to the exam, regardless of when the order was received. All returns are subject to a restocking fee $20. The materials must be returned in original, like-new, resalable condition and in the original packaging and/or shrink-wrap in order to be considered for a refund.

Requests to cancel orders that have been processed will be subject to a $20 restocking fee. If an order has been shipped and is in transit with UPS, a $20 restocking fee plus shipment costs will be charged against the refund. Requests for orders to be cancelled after they are processed will result in the refund being less a $20 restocking fee. If the order has been shipped and is in transit with UPS, the refund amount would be less the shipment costs, in addition to the $20 restocking fee.

You must contact our customer service department via phone, fax or email, to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. The box the materials are returned in must be postmarked within 30 days of receipt of the order and you need to write the RA number on the outside of the box. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 30-45 business days after the return is received.

2010/2011 Program Cancellation / Refund Policy (In-Class and Online)

Refunded only if the student has not accessed the course. Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice, please review periodically.

Tuition will be refunded for up to 30 days from the date of enrollment, upon return of the materials.  Or you can apply the cost of tuition to another Kaplan Financial Education class for up to one year.

PassProtection™ Retake Policy (Securities Licensing Products Only)

You are eligible for our PassProtection™ program if you utilized Kaplan Financial Education's review class to prepare for a Series exam but will be repeating that same exam. This program allows you to reschedule your review course up to 4 times within 1 year of the date purchased.  A fee of $100 for Series 6, 7, 24, 66, 65 and $50 for Series 63 will be charged for each enrollment after the fourth time taking the course. To be qualified for this offer, you must provide written documentation of your exam results in the form of a pass/fail for notification.  Please call (800) 824-8742 to speak with a Customer Service Representative.

Shipping Policies

All materials are shipped within 1 business day after receipt of order and payment. Orders are shipped via UPS unless otherwise instructed. For an additional fee, we will ship materials by next-day or second-day service. Express orders must be received by 12:00pm to be delivered the following day.

By visiting the Kaplan Financial Education Site or submitting your personally identifiable information to us, you accept the terms described in the Privacy Policy. From time to time we may modify these rules. We will notify you of any significant change by posting a notice on our home page and information collection forms. Your continued use of the Kaplan Financial Education site after any modification indicates your agreement to the new terms.
